Hamid

Hamid grew up in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco, where his mother was one of the many skilled women who learned the centuries-old craft of handweaving Berber rugs. Surrounded by the rhythms of the loom from childhood, he developed a deep understanding of the materials, techniques, and cultural significance behind every knot and pattern. He founded BerberFlooring to share that firsthand knowledge with the world — helping buyers in the USA and beyond choose, care for, and appreciate authentic Moroccan handmade rugs.
